A Gaelic football tournament saw 160 children from six schools take part in a day of sport and teamwork.

Held at Horspath Sports Grounds on March 20, the Oxfordshire event was the culmination of a coaching programme delivered in primary schools from September to March.

Eire Og Oxford’s County Development Officer, Keith Jackman, led the scheme with support from club coaches Jake O'Donnoghue and Tommy Griffin.

A spokesman for Eire Og Oxford said: "A huge thanks to everyone who gave up their time on Friday 20 March to help make the event a success, Denis Duggan, Euan Philips, Keith Jackman, Maurice Fallon, Sean Gaughan and Tommy Griffin"

Training sessions continue every Saturday during term time from 1pm to 2pm at Horspath Sports Grounds for children aged two to 11.
