The back-up goalkeeper joined in September 2023 from Fenerbahce for a fee of £4.3million.However, he has managed just 17 appearances in two-and-a-half years and has deputised for the likes of Andre Onana and Senne Lammens. Bayindir had started a few games at the beginning of the season, but the signing of Lammens from Royal Antwerp saw him fall down the pecking order once more.Turkish outlet Fanatik have reported that the 27-year-old has sorted personal terms with Besiktas, who had been linked with the 'keeper in January. It's understood that United will not stand in the Turk's way.The transfer is therefore expected to be finalised at the season's end.
