CAF Sets Date for Futsal AFCON 2026 Draw in Rabat

Rabat -The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the official draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 will take place on Monday, August 10, in Rabat.

The draw ceremony will be held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex starting at 6:00 p.m. Morocco time (5:00 p.m. GMT), according to CAF.

The eight teams qualified for the final tournament will learn their group-stage opponents and their path in the continental competition.

Morocco, the host nation, will be joined by Egypt, Libya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, Angola, and Algeria.

The Futsal AFCON Morocco 2026 is scheduled to take place from October 12 to 21, 2026, bringing together some of Africa’s leading national futsal teams.

The tournament is expected to highlight the continued development of futsal across the continent, as the sport continues to gain popularity and international recognition.

The upcoming edition will also provide an opportunity for African teams to compete for the continental title and strengthen the visibility of futsal in Africa.
