Eala set to play in main draw of French Open

Alex Eala of the Philippines is set to play in the main draw of the French Open for the second straight year.

As 45th ranked player in the Women’s Tennis Association, Eala’s name appeared on the list of 104 tennis stars who will see action in the main draw.

Her name also appeared on the French Open’s official website.

The much-awaited Roland Garros clay tournament is set to start on May 18.

Meanwhile, the Filipino tennis star is currently preparing for the upcoming Madrid Open, which starts on April 23.

Eala was fresh off a first round exit at the Boss Open in Stuttgart, Germany, falling to world No. 23 and Filipino-Canadian Leylah Fernandez.
