Wayne Rooney will co-host a new Manchester United-dedicated show alongside influencer Mark Goldbridge this season.

Former United captain Gary Neville bought Goldbridge's YouTube channels earlier this year, bringing the influencer's The United Stand and That's Football into his Overlap network.

Rooney, who is a regular pundit on the Overlap's Stick to Football show, will now front a new show alongside Goldbridge called Stick to United with Wayne Rooney.

It is part of a distribution deal signed with Disney+, which will show 50 episodes of Stick to United and 40 episodes of Stick to Football this season.

Neville says the partnership "expands our reach without compromising our identity".

The former England defender founded The Overlap in 2021 and it has since expanded into other sports such as cricket and rugby.

Neville, who co-chairs the company, paid an undisclosed seven-figure sum to acquire Goldbridge's channels in April.

Goldbridge, whose real name is Brent di Cesare, has more than 3.8 million followers across his two YouTube channels.

Clips from Goldbridge's videos often go viral online for his outlandish reactions and controversial football opinions.

Neville has previously criticised Arsenal-dedicated fan YouTube channel ArsenalFanTV, labelling it as "embarrassing" after fans on the platform berated then manager Arsene Wenger following a 3-1 defeat by Chelsea in 2017.

Neville's comments led to a Twitter spat between him and ArsenalFanTV, and he later appeared in an interview on the channel to clarify his views.

The Wayne Rooney Show will return to BBC platforms this season, while the former England captain will continue his punditry role on Match of the Day.
