French Open 2026: Can Jannik Sinner complete the Career Grand Slam on Paris clay? How to watch the world No. 1 live

Jannik Sinner arrives at Roland-Garros 2026 (24 May-7 June) with a 29-match winning streak and history in his sights.

The 24-year-old tennis world No. 1 has not lost since Doha in mid-February, sweeping through Indian Wells and Miami without dropping a set. His winning streak is the fifth-longest run in the Open era.

Sinner has had success in Paris – he’s 22-6 there in his career – and held three championship points in the 2025 final before Carlos Alcaraz fought back to claim the title. Alcaraz will not defend his title due to injury.

A Roland Garros title remains the one piece of unfinished business and victory in Paris would complete the Career Grand Slam.

He opens against Frenchman Clément Tabur. American Ben Shelton, whom Sinner has beaten all but once in their 10 career meetings, is a likely quarter-final opponent. Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada awaits in the same section and could be the Italian’s semi-final foe.

German second seed Alexander Zverev and Serbia's Paris 2024 Olympic champion Novak Djokovic, seeded third, are the most likely candidates to meet Sinner in the final on 7 June.

Here is how you can follow Sinner at Roland Garros.
