The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced a nationwide talent hunt program for U19 and Emerging women cricketers, with trials scheduled across nine cities from April 14 to May 1.

The program will begin in Faisalabad and move through Lahore, Peshawar, and Abbottabad in the first phase, followed by Multan and Bahawalpur. The final leg will include Quetta and Karachi before concluding in Rawalpindi.

The U19 category is open to players born on or after September 1, 2007, with a minimum age requirement of 12 years. There is no age restriction for the Emerging category.

Selected players will enter a structured development pathway in preparation for upcoming domestic and international assignments, which will be announced at a later stage.

The trials will be overseen by former Pakistan women’s cricketer Batool Fatima and former Test cricketer Asad Shafiq, both members of the national women’s selection committee. They will be supported by regional coaches in each city.

All participants are required to bring a B-form, CNIC, or a NADRA-issued birth certificate for age verification.
