Former Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has celebrated winning a league title for a second season in a row after joining Bayern Munich for a fee that could reach $88 million (£65 million) last summer.

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Cologne on Saturday as the Bundesliga season came to an end.

The former Tottenham man's 58 goals in all competitions at club level are the most by a player from Europe's big-five leagues since the ex-Liverpool ace Luis Suarez for Barcelona in 2015/16.

Diaz and his teammates lifted the trophy at the final whistle, celebrating their latest success. Bayern Munich has now won 12 of the last 13 editions of the German top flight.

Former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso has spoken for the first time after being confirmed as Chelsea's new manager, where he will take over officially on a four-year deal on July 1.

"Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in world football and it fills me with immense pride to become manager of this great club," Alonso told club media after the appointment was made public.

"From my conversations with the ownership group and sporting leadership, it is clear we share the same ambition. We want to build a team capable of competing consistently at the highest level and fighting for trophies."

Liverpool wants to replace Alexis Mac Allister with Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, 23, this summer, according to TeamTalk. Manchester United is also said to be keen on the Frenchman.

Camavinga is supposedly valued at around $66 million (£50 million), which seems on the low side. Arne Slot could certainly do with some fresh energy in the center of the pitch.

Liverpool is among the clubs to admire RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande, but would only be willing to pay up to $100 million (£75 million) this summer, according to the i Paper.

Adding pace and quality out wide is a must when the season comes to an end. Mohamed Salah is leaving, so at least one new wide forward will be required.
