good morning everyone and welcome to A Look at the Month Ahead, where hoddle headquarters take a look at the upcoming month in Tottenham Hotspurville.

Not so much on the women's side, whose season doesn't kick off until September so we'll leave things with just the men.

Can you believe that Premier League football is back? Spurs kick off the season in three weeks against Brentford. There's still a lot that needs to be taken care of before then on the transfer front. Roberto de Zerbi hinted at incomings and outgoings, so I'll be curious to see how that plays out (especially with Lucas Bergvall, and what's going on with Savinho?).

It's an interesting start to the season, particularly with Newcastle who are now in search of a new manager after Eddie Howe departed. It will also mark the return of Sandro Tonali, who left the club this summer to join Spurs.

There are also a couple friendlies left to be played too. Which means more time for de Zerbi to figure out his preferred XI for the start of the season. Also if you look at the schedule closely you'll notice that there is a Tottenham Hotspur game at least once every seven days this month – huzzah!
