Mohamed Salah will wave goodbye to Liverpool on Sunday, playing his last game for the club where he has become a legend. The Egyptian has scored 257 goals in 441 appearances for the Reds over the past nine years and will be hoping to add one more to his collection in his final appearance for the club on Sunday. In a glittering career he has lifted the Premier League trophy twice, the Champions League, the Super Cup, the Club World Cup and the FA Cup and League Cup - everything there is to win.Liverpool line up ideal Salah replacementBut all good things must come to an end and after a tumultuous season, in which he had a very public falling out with manager Arne Slot, the 33-year-old has agreed to terminate his contract at Anfield a year early. And that means Liverpool will be in the market for a replacement during the summer transfer window. One name that has been linked with a move to Anfield has been Yan Diomande - the teenage Ivorian who has been pulling up trees in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.Diomande has 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 games for the German outfit this season, helping them to qualification for next season's Champions League by finishing third. That could throw a spanner in the works when it comes to signing him, with Leipzig keen to keep hold of him for one more season and the lure of Champions League football could be tempting.Diomande would get that at Liverpool too, however - barring a final day nightmare for the Reds. They sit fifth in the Premier League table - enough for Champions League qualification again this season - three points clear of sixth-placed Bournemouth and with a six-goal better goal difference. That means a draw secures fifth and defeat would too, providing there is not a six-goal swing on the final day.According to Athletic journalist David Ornstein, Liverpool are preparing club-to-club talks over a move for Diomande. He said: "Yan Diomande is a leading target for Liverpool. PSG also among suitors but Liverpool are firm contenders. Strong position with 19-year-old RB Leipzig winger and if player deal looks doable, club-to-club talks will follow. RB Leipzig would seek €100million-plus to sell."Diomande is a Liverpool fanDiomande has previously spoken of his desire to play for Liverpool, suggesting personal terms could be easy to agree on, if a transfer fee is negotiated with Leipzig."I want to play for Liverpool, I'm a huge Liverpool fan," he was quoted as saying earlier this season. He did row back slightly on those comments, after something of a media frenzy, but the sentiment remains. He added: "People made it out to be my dream club. But first and foremost, it's my dad's favourite club. It was always his great wish to see me play there someday because he loves the atmosphere at Anfield."
