Five years after her last French Open appearance, Venus Williams will make her return at Roland-Garros 2026 (24 May-7 June), partnering with Hailey Baptiste in the women's doubles.

The U.S. tennis star, who turns 46 in June, is a four-time Olympic champion, seven-time Grand Slam singles champion and 14-time Grand Slam doubles champion.

She won the French Open doubles title twice alongside her sister Serena Williams, in 1999 and 2000. In singles, she made the final once, losing to Serena in 2002.

Williams is 1-1 in doubles on clay in the 2026 season, having partnered with Katie Boulter of Great Britain at the Madrid Open. The pair won their opening match, but fell in the round of 16 to Sofia Kenin and Hsieh Su-Wei.

The pair open against Japan's Kato Miyu and Mexico's Giuliana Olmos in the first round.
