Morgan Riddle Shoots Down The Taylor Fritz Breakup Rumor

Are American tennis star Taylor Fritz and social media influencer Morgan Riddle still an item? That seems to be a popular question this week.

Fritz and Riddle met on the dating app Raya in 2020. They've become one of the most popular couples in the tennis community over the years, especially after they were featured on the Netflix docuseries “Break Point.”

"I remember when him and I first met within the first week or two, one of the things that he told me is I just want tennis to be cooler in our generation," Riddle said. "It's just not."

Earlier this month, rumors about Fritz and Riddle breaking up started circulating online. It's unclear what initially sparked speculation about their relationship.

On Monday night, Riddle responded to an Instagram post that said Fritz "called it quits" with her. She shut down all the speculation with this comment: "@taylor_fritz damn did you know about this??"

Judging by that sarcasticn remark, Fritz and Riddle are still going strong.

Fritz has always publicly supported Riddle.

Although some tennis fans haven't really accepted Riddle and her social media brand, Fritz has been her No. 1 supporter from the very start.

“I think what she did was awesome for our sport,” Fritz said. “It got a ton of people looking at it. I think you get your typical older fan who may be upset about it. I don’t understand how anyone can get upset about it.”

With the clay court season in full effect, Riddle will have plenty of content to share with the tennis community. However, she's not at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters this week since Fritz withdrew due to injury.
