Top Premier League trio hold talks over Osimhen

Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have all discussed the possibility of signing Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray, although there has been no formal approach for the Nigeria international.

According to Teamtalk, the three Premier League clubs have held internal discussions about the 27-year-old striker, but none have progressed to formal bids or advanced negotiations.

Osimhen is reportedly keen on a move to England after establishing himself as one of Europe's most prolific forwards during his time in Turkey. However, his financial demands could prove a significant obstacle.

The striker's current package at Galatasaray is among the highest in the Turkish top flight, and any Premier League move would require a substantial salary commitment. Teamtalk reports that wage demands previously contributed to Chelsea failing to complete a deal for Osimhen.

Galatasaray are also reluctant to sell. The Turkish champions are understood to have rejected an offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal in recent days and have little desire to part with a player whose contract runs until 2029.

Manchester United's interest appears to have cooled, with the overall financial cost understood to be a concern. Tottenham continue to monitor the situation, while Osimhen's name has also featured in Arsenal's discussions with Galatasaray over other matters.

For now, there is no indication that any of the three clubs are close to making an offer. Osimhen is therefore expected to remain at Galatasaray unless a suitor is prepared to meet both the club's valuation and the player's wage expectations.
