WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College women's tennis team (10-12, 2-10 ACC) earned a hard-fought 4-3 victory over No. 60 Georgia Tech (10-13, 4-8 ACC) Sunday afternoon at the Weymouth Club.The Eagles opened up the scoring with a win on court two as Tola Glowacka and Bella Camacho defeated their opponents, 6-0. The Yellow Jackets responded with wins on courts one and three, taking the doubles point headed into singles play.Nadia Barteck evened the match with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles. Graduate student Leyden Games followed with a 7-5, 6-2 victory at No. 3 to give Boston College the lead. Georgia Tech responded with a win at No. 1 singles as nationally ranked Alejandra Cruz took down #124 Olivia Benton, 6-4, 6-2. The Yellow Jackets continued with their momentum, taking No. 2 singles, topping Seren Agar in three sets.Camacho evened the match at 3-3 with a 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 comeback win at No. 5, setting up a decisive match on court four.
