Bangladesh pace bowling coach Shaun Tait on Thursday confirmed to Cricbuzz that he has stepped down from his position of fast bowling coach. Cricbuzz had earlier reported that Tait was unlikely to continue.Tait, whose contract with the BCB runs until the 2027 ODI World Cup, joined the set-up in May 2025 and enjoyed a successful stint with Bangladesh. He has been widely credited for his role in the development of young quick Nahid Rana, who has emerged as one of the brightest stars of Bangladesh cricket in recent years thanks to his express pace.Australia will tour Bangladesh from June 9 to 21 for a six-match white-ball series. The three ODIs will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on June 9, 11 and 14.
