Bangladesh fast bowler Nahid Rana has not applied for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to rejoin the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11), raising uncertainty over his return to the tournament.Nahid Rana, who was representing Peshawar Zalmi, was initially granted an NOC by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) until April 13. However, he later returned home along with other Bangladesh players participating in the PSL 11 after being called up for national duty.Although Rana was named in the ODI squad against New Zealand, he was not selected for the first two T20 Internationals. Sources indicate that the BCB is considering resting him ahead of the upcoming Test series against Pakistan. The two-match Test series, part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27, will begin at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium from May 8 to 12. The second Test is scheduled at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium from May 16 to 20.As part of workload management, Rana has decided not to request a new NOC to continue in the PSL. The right-arm pacer played four matches for Zalmi, taking seven wickets at an economy rate of 5.42.Sources added that if Nahid Rana had applied for an NOC, the BCB would have reviewed his request before making a decision. In a related development, fellow Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman was granted an NOC in two phases. He was initially cleared to play in the PSL 11 until April 12 and, after the ODI series against New Zealand, received another NOC starting April 24.Mustafizur, who plays for Lahore Qalandars, will be available for his franchise until May 3.
