Footage filmed on Saturday shows Zakhir posing for photographs with supporters and a replica World Cup trophy before kicking a ball around with young fans.He is later seen browsing social media and speaking about the attention his resemblance to the newly crowned World Cup winner has brought him."I enjoy it when people ask to take photos with me, especially football fans and young children who love the sport. I like it when they come up and ask for a photo because it makes me feel appreciated. I see it as a blessing and a unique advantage that I have," Zakhir said."If I were ever allowed to meet, or even be introduced to Lamine Yamal, I would be extremely happy. That would really mean a lot to me," the man added.Zakhir, a content creator from Bachok in Kelantan, went viral in July after social media users noticed his resemblance to Yamal. His profile grew after he entered an esports competition during a public screening of the World Cup final and unexpectedly won first place. As he collected his prize, spectators began chanting 'Yamal'.Despite the resemblance, Zakhir has previously said he is actually a supporter of Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo.Yamal helped Spain claim their second World Cup title on July 19. Spain beat defending champions Argentina 1-0 after extra time in the final, with substitute Ferran Torres scoring the winner in the 106th minute.
