PSG snap up another wonderkid?

Paris Saint-Germain are in talks to sign one of the most talented youngsters in Europe, Mika Godts.

The Belgian was sublime for Ajax last season, scoring 17 goals and recording 13 assists in 34 matches in the Eredivisie. His performances have naturally catalysed plenty of interest across the continent, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all making their interest known over the summer.

However, the Premier League sides are set to lose out in the race for his signature as Fabrizio Romano reports that PSG have opened talks with Ajax over the 21-year-old.

Previous reports indicate he could cost as much as €60 million, but at PSG it might be the case that he's viewed as a replacement for Bradley Barcola, who could be on his way to Liverpool.

Arsenal weighing up Nwaneri future

Arsenal are considering what to do with Ethan Nwaneri, as it's unlikely the English midfielder will see a lot of game time this season, should he stay with the Gunners after a spell on loan at Marseille last season.

Mikel Arteta already has Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Martin Zubimendi, Eberechi Eze, Mikel Merino and Myles Lewis-Skelly for those central midfield spots - and Bruno Guimaraes is set to arrive from Newcastle too.

They are reportedly open to either a loan deal or a permanent transfer, should the price be right.

Corriere dello Sport reports that Milan are keen to bring him to San Siro as he perfectly matches the midfielder profile head coach Ruben Amorim is after, but Everton and Fulham are also interested in a potential €35m deal.

Bruno deal agreed as price revealed

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle, and the price has been confirmed as €90m by L'Equipe.

Newcastle are going through a chaotic period at the moment as manager Eddie Howe resigned this week, while two of the club's best players, Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon, were sold to Tottenham and Barcelona, respectively.

The situation has developed quickly in recent weeks. Guimaraes is understood to have informed Newcastle that he wants to join Arsenal and he's emerged as the Gunners' number one transfer target since the conclusion of the World Cup.

Inter and Liverpool can't agree on Jones

Inter remain keen on signing Curtis Jones from Liverpool and have made him one of their priority midfield targets, but the two clubs are still some distance apart over his valuation, reports the Mail.

The Serie A champions have already had an opening offer of around €25 million rejected and have since returned with an improved proposal worth approximately €35 million. Liverpool, however, continue to value the England international at €40 million or more and have shown little willingness to lower their asking price.

Early in July, Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola stressed he wanted Jones to stay at Anfield.

"I rate Curtis very highly," he said. "For me he is a great, great player, and I hope he can continue with us and continue performing the way he has been performing."

Martinelli wanted by Roma

Roma are desperate to sign a new winger this summer, having already failed in their attempt to acquire Crysencio Summerville, who joined Al-Hilal from West Ham.

They have been linked with the likes of Antonio Nusa and Said El Mala, too, but have now turned their attention to Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli, according to Football London.

Unfortunately for the Giallorossi, the Brazilian presents the most expensive target out of the three players mentioned as Arsenal would demand €50m to sell.

Arsenal have already signed Christos Tzolis to play down that left wing and they continue to be linked with Nico Williams and Vinicius Junior, too, so maybe Roma could negotiate the price down.
