TONIGHT IS THE first World Cup semi-final – with France and Spain going head-to-head for a place in Saturday’s final.

Both teams have been among the favourites to lift this year’s trophy. France are aiming to reach their third consecutive final after winning the tournament in 2018 and then narrowly missing out to Argentina in 2022.

That said, France have won the World Cup twice, while Spain’s only winning title came in 2010.

With the final within arm’s reach, it’s all to play for this evening.
